Why this Bike?
Short answer - Because its just a cool looking bike (some people may disagree, but if you are looking at this site, you are probably not one of them)
Long Answer - I have been tossing around designs for a motorcycle for a while and I had already decided on some concepts I would like to intergrate into a motorcycle should I ever build one. Soon after the first Toy came out of the Akira bike, I had not seen the film in years, but I remembered how intruiging I thought the bike was when I realized that my bike design shared a lot of similiarities to the Kaneda's bike in Akira, enough that I could make it serve as the form or aesthetic inspiration for my prototype so I am able to A) build a cool bike and B) match its general shape and outword appearance to something I have always found interesting and may be recognizable by many people. Also, it should be challenging, fun, and exciting. Plus its a damn cool bike.
